Green Real Estate Development
We have included the objective of carbon neutrality in our new investment strategy. We strive to achieve energy saving/net zero in development projects. Since operational emissions (the energy used to heat, cool and light buildings) account for 28% of all global carbon emissions, and emissions of substances (materials and construction processes throughout a building's life cycle) account for another 11%. This is how we contribute to environmental neutrality.
In our development projects, we seek for using low-carbon building materials as much as possible. Low-carbon building materials can be obtained from materials with low energy and carbon content in the processes of their manufacture, assembly, and transportation.
